If a Tree Falls in the Forest and Nobody Saw It...They Might Have Used an Axe

Alright, so I've missed a lot on this blog. There's been a year or so of silence. I used to post my thoughts on riding bikes, traveling to different cities, eating food, and technology. Things are different now. I'm fourteen years older than I was when I started this blog. A lot has changed. I'm married, I'm a dad. My faith has evolved, my politics have changed -- hopefully I know a bit more than I did fourteen years ago. Like, wisdom. Maybe I've accumulated some. 🀷‍♂️

Either way, life's different. I'm no longer super concerned with exploring the latest version of iOS. Okay, I take that back. Some things don't change. I'm still super excited about the most recent version of iOS. But, some big things have changed in the world. I felt like 2007 I was more concerned about small things. My scope of concern was small. I worked, went to school, paid my rent, had pints of beer with friends. That was about it. Simplicity. Looking back, it feels like it was simple. I'm sure my 2007 self would disagree. I remember spending a lot of time in sort of a state of melancholic, deep thought. Like, I was chasing some sort of sadness. So, I don't want to say my problems then were insignificant. I had worry. I had questions. I had lots of uncertainty.

Today's different.

I want to share what's on my mind here. I think I need to think more about what that looks like. The internet of 2022 is much different than the internet of 2007. (I feel like the internet of 2007 was more fun.) So, I'll think on it. And I'll post more of what's on my mind, more frequently. (⌐■_■)

Hey Lorenzo! I'm cleaning out my bookmarks and saw I had a bookmark to your blog. And you posted today! What timing! Anyway hope you enjoy getting a comment on your blog just like old times. Only old millennials still write blogs and comment on em!
